Crews were unsure if the residence was occupied and made entry into the home in order to conduct a primary search. It was determined shortly after that nobody was home and crews continued extinguishing the fire. It took approximately 45 minutes to get the fire under control. Crews remained on scene for over 2 hours conducting overhaul of the residence. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
